Things that make me cheerful on a miserable day.
On the 20th of March the Royal Mail will be celebrating British comics by
releasing a set of stamps that show 10 comic covers with a character from each
on the stamp as well.The set includes The Dandy, The Beano, Eagle, Topper,
Tiger, Bunty, Buster, Valliant, Twinkle and 2000 AD with Dredd as the main
man.
Something me and the wife will both like. me because I love comics and her because she loves Nurse Nancy from Twinkle, which her gradfather used to read her.

Never really been into British comics, especially the humour ones, but Dredd on a stamp is cool...though couldn't they have picked a Bolland Dredd or a more iconic shot? 'ere, you better make sure you get the sticky stamps not the ones you have to lick, they taste Dreddful...
